BUILDING CHAMPIONS
WPAL offers youth year-round programs and special events that foster teamwork, enforce citizenship, and provide the opportunities to work with law enforcement officers and caring adult mentors. The eight training facilities are available for all law enforcement agencies.
Their mentoring programs include youth boxing and community service. Over the years, WPAL Golden Gloves youth athletes have participated in national and Olympic boxing events. The Annual Stuff-A-Store toy drive has distributed over 100,000 toys.
STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES
SUCCESSFUL BRAND DESIGN
We created a brand story that is consistent and authentic, communicating the problem they solve, and building relationships with their target audiences: law enforcement agencies, at risk youth, and funding sources.
Today, WPAL has a growing digital presence that makes their efforts a just little easier.
The Golden Gloves is the name given to annual competitions for amateur boxing in the United States. It’s no surprise that Pittsburgh, and Western Pennsylvania produced some of the nation’s grittiest fighters over the past 100 years. Fighters from the area have made a name for themselves fighting on the national stage. Our boxers train year round to participate.
Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic Leagues's decades-old history is founded on the principle that the police and the communities they serve both benefit when they have positive and productive relationships with one another. WPAL welcomes adults interesting in becoming a mentor and youth looking to participate in our program.
